Sheer Shades
Vesper
Fabric vanes suspended between two layers of sheer. Tilt them open and daylight comes through soft and diffused with the view intact; close them and the room is private. The whole shade still raises when the window needs clearing.
How a sheer shade works
Tilt for light, close for privacy, raise for the view.
Two sheer facings hold horizontal fabric vanes between them. That construction is what separates a sheer shade from a blind: no hard slats, no visible ladder cords, and the sheer softens the light rather than cutting it into lines.
Vanes closed
The vanes overlap into a solid face for privacy, at light filtering or room darkening depending on the fabric.
Shade raised
The whole shade lifts into the headrail to clear the glass entirely.
Vane sizes
Three vane widths.
Vane size sets the scale of the horizontal band, which is the thing a client actually notices. Smaller vanes read finer and suit smaller windows; wider vanes read calmer across a large opening.
2" vane
The finest band. Best on smaller windows, and where a tighter rhythm suits the room.
2.5" vane
The middle option, and the one that carries the printed, striped and plaid collections.
3" vane
The widest band, quietest across a large window and the most contemporary of the three.
Fabrics
Over 100 fabrics, light filtering or room darkening.
The range runs from Bright White and Alabaster through Sesame and Beige into deeper tones, with printed, striped and plaid collections on the 2.5" vane. Every fabric is either light filtering or room darkening, so the same vane can be specified for a living room or a bedroom.
Light filtering
The closed vane still passes soft light, keeping a room bright while private.
Room darkening
The closed vane blocks most light, for bedrooms and media rooms.
Pattern collections
Printed, striped and plaid options on the 2.5" vane, where a plain band would be too quiet.
Control options
Four core operating systems, with options for each.
Cordless
No cords on the shade at all. The shade is drawn down by the hem bar. The simplest answer where child safety matters.
Continuous cord loop
A beaded chain drive with a mounted tension device. On heavier and larger shades a spring assist mechanism is added to keep the operation smooth. Available in white, beige, gray, black, brown and steel.
Wand
Motorized operation from a wand at the side of the shade, with speed regulation and a preferred stop position. Rechargeable, and color coordinated to your shade.
Motorized
Wireless rechargeable, ultra quiet, A/C and low voltage DC motors for any situation. Operated by remote, wall switch, smart hub through a phone app, or smart home touch pads.

Apollo
Endurance
Our gold-standard wireless motor. A melting pot of top-brand motor components for smooth operation, extended battery life and durability.
Stealth
A true Frankenstein of the top-tier motor world. Extended tube length, soft rubber drive and a smooth high quality crown offer utter silence, for clients who want to hear a pin drop.
Pulse
A/C line voltage for plug and play, and D/C low voltage for high end pre-wire specs. Mobile battery adapters are available with our quick connect system at the window, so the shades still operate if the house loses power.
Solar panel
Keeps a motorized shade charged without running power to the window. Pairs with the rechargeable motors, and suits high or hard to reach windows.
Smart control
Works with the systems clients already have.
Add a hub and the shades join the house network, with app control and scheduling. Compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Apple HomeKit, Samsung SmartThings, IFTTT, Control4 and RTI.

Sizes and measuring.

Size range
From 8" wide on a chain loop up to 116" as an oversized single shade, and from 11" to 144" high. That 144" height covers tall openings most shades cannot reach in one piece.

Inside mount
Measure width at top, middle and bottom and take the smallest, rounded down to 1/8". Measure height at left, middle and right and take the largest, rounded up. The factory deducts 1/8 to 3/16" from the width.
- 03
Outside mount
Order the size you want covered; nothing is added or deducted. Around 2" of overlap each side and top and bottom is a sensible allowance for light coverage.
